can anyone tell me the salary of a high court judge.
Also the salary of a barrister

According to Whitaker's Almanac, a High Court Judge - as at 1 July 2006 - earns �162,000. The Lord Chief Justice (highest paid) earns �225,000. Presumably they've had a pay review from July 2007, but this gives you a rough idea.

I don't think barrister's have salaries as such: they are self-employed and are paid what they, their Chambers and their clients think they are worth.
