Has anybody been to Las Vegas and The Grand Canyon in January, If so whats the weather like and is it shorts and T shirt, or Jeans and sweaters

Las Vegas can be mild, though cool in the evenings, but the canyon is downright chilly, being up high. Jeans and sweaters and a jacket too, I think.
