Anyone had the dep injection at all . I have just had my second jab and I,ve been spot bleeding for about 5 - weeks - Just had the 2nd jab last week. Is this normal ? I,ve read all the websites and they just fill you full of worst case scenarios & horror stuff. Anyone got first hand experience of it? Any advise / stories, would be cool, good or bad!!

If it doesnt stop they can put you on the minipill as well to control your bleeding. I really dont like the sound of the injection so have never had it though.

its honestly not bad, just like a scratch. Its not a deep injection at all. Just worried bout the spotting - kinda defeats the object of being on the pill !!!
I don't like the idea of that big dose of hormones. I have the implant cause I don't have to worry about the pill and its slow releasing but when you take it out fertility should go back to normal straight away. Its not the needle that worries me.

I see where you are coming from but you might find one month of the mini pill is all you need to sort it out.
I've been on it for about 6 years and haven't had a period in years. I seem to recall it took a while for them to stop completely though.

I imagine things will be irregular for a while, while your body adjusts to it.
