We have bought a ground floor maisonette and the man upstairs has access to his shed and we have found that he just walks in whenever he wants just for a chat. So we have fenced his corner off so he can only get to his shed not the rest of our garden. He is now saying that we have to put a gate in the fence so he can get acess to his window, which i have said he only has to knock and we will let him in. Do we have to let him have 24/7 acess to the garden??

I would imagine it depends on what it says in your deeds. Is it your garden or a communal one? He will have to have 'reasonable access' to get to his window when needed but this needen't be 24/7!
Aly 98, Hi There, I assume that you mean this man walks into your Maisonette without an invitation, Well you could deal with this in two ways, No 1 You could speak to him and tell him that you would prefer it if he did not walk into your property without an invitation. No 2 Lock your door. I am sure that he will get the message. Cheers . Alligator
