I have a friend who had a stroke 10 years ago. She is very intelligent and interested in many things. Although she leads a fairly active life, she longs for culture. Unfortunately, unless she is taken out by her friends she can not go anywhere because she is physically disabled by the stroke. She hates being dependant. I suggested that she would enjoy talking to people on the internet - not just ordinary mindless chat-rooms, but interactive websites relating to certain topics and interests. She can use a computer to type, albeit one-handed. Does anyone know of any (relating to any subject) that she could join?
