Does anyone know if a bt homehub wireless router is harmful if on constantly, particularly if it is next to someone who is pregnant?

Not harmful at all, in any way, whether pregnant or not.

well given how poor the quality of its ability to connect to a network I would say she is quite safe, failing that you can ask the delightful customer service team in india for their opinion (assuming you can understand them of course)
