I can't remember the exact name but it's brilliant - it's Oxy Body Clear Body Wash i think, it's an orange liquid in a clear bottle with a white top.

if topical things don't work (that's things that you put on the skin) then you could try your GP. When i went on antibiotics for my acne my back and chest were the first places to clear up.

Depending on what your spots are like, topical stuff might not help. For example, if they are more like red, headless lumps under the skin rather than blackheads and whiteheads, then this is probably something that needs to be corrected from within the body, whether by drugs, diet or whatever. White and blackheads are more likely to respond to creams and washes.

Neutrogena back wash is worth a try :

Really dries your skin up, but clears them damn spots nicely.
Ahhhhh...it's Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash, not Oxy. Around 4 - 5 a bottle but worth it (Superdrug are usually the cheapest).

I'm 27 years old and...quite gorgeous might I add,

Every now and again I get a spotty back - big lumpy spots aswell - It's not pleasant but... I couldn't give a toss!

F*CK IT - surely/hopefully you have far more interesting things to be occupied with than the state of your back!?

I had that problem at your age, my spots were so severe I was going to be commenced on Roaccutane! Luckily, I was commenced on Dianette which is an oral contraceptive (but also prescribed to men for excess testosterone production) My spots were gone within 6 months! Sorry I dont know if you are male or female so this info may be useless!!

Hi Beohthram, of you have heard of a shop called Lush (which sells bath and body products) then i would recommend you a soap from there called fresh pharmacy, it is made up with calamine lotion which drys up spots. Rub the soap on a long back brush and give your back etc a good scrub with it. It'll take a few months to completely clear (just in time for the summer) but it really does work and it don't smell feminine because of the calamine lotion. It really works so try it, it costs about 4 for a chunk of it. Good luck.
I've been using the Neutorgena back wash (all thanks to this thread) and it's working a treat. Superdrug was the only place that seemed to sell it near me. Thanks all.
I am going to try that Neutrogema back wash as at the minute i am really concious over my back and have just been to the doctors today and recieved some cream but have been told that I might not see any results for 3 months, does any one know how long Neutrogena back wash takes untill you can see results.
