does anyone elses child have comprehesion of language difficulties? my 4 year old son has this problem along with difficulties in expression of language, his use of language is now coming along though. We've had hardly any help from the local authority speech and language therapists (3x20 min sessions),his nursery have been gr8, but trying to get more money to help him when he starts school full time is a nightmare, any suggestions as to where to get extra home help for my son?

My son too had speech and language difficulties and I had no help from health visitors. I kept on and on to the speech therapists in my area until I got him seen. It was a long process through speech therapy but well worth it. I t is hard with no support but think about the benefits for your son if you keep insisting. Good luck.
