In the news today a Woman went to the cash point to find 135,000 in her bank account that wasent hers.
She blew most of it in weeks.
Would you do the same?
I would, I think if its their mistake then its tough.

Instead of blowing it all on holidays and plasma screens, I would transfer the lot over to another bank then if they asked for it back then you could have a few quid interest from their mistake before giving it back.

I dont think the lady should be in court over this. Its all wrong.

plain and simple, the woman is a thief and in the end of 135,000 got what she deserved. i don't feel sorry for cheats, thieves and liars; they are all the same.
bazile yes me (and I think the majority of society) recognise the difference between stealing 5 and stealing 135,000.

I am not saying that either are right, but thats the way it is.

If you want both crimes to be treated the same then you are asking for zero tolerance - something which I believe is wrong.

Do you think someone stealing some food so that they can eat that night is the same as someone committing fraud so that they can drive around in a sports car?

As Steveie21 suggests, do you think that a slap in anger should be treated in the same way as kicking the hell out of someone?

What about the speeding analogy I mentioned earlier?
