Sorry, I'm having a very hard time with Pasquale today. I find it hard to get my head around some of his clues, so any help would be much appreciated:

21a: She may be in this store (8)
I've ???KSHOP. Could it be WORKSHOP or BOOKSHOP? If so, why?

22a: Unfair dealer getting rid of a year's tat (6)
I've S?L???.

1d: Wicked power surrounding wicked metal bracelet (7)
I've M?C?L?A

2d: Actress's scare forgetting Kipling's lines.
I've T?N?Y. Something to do with Kipling's poem "If" maybe?

5d: The old man wants a dish (6)
I've P?T?R?

16d: Mean to have an egg in bar - or something more substantial (7)
I've B???O?T.

19d: Take care putting clubs down in bridge (7)
I've A???I?N. AUCTION comes to mind, but if so, how do we get than from the clue?

Sorry for so many, but I have all the rest correct (I think!) so if anyone wants any of the others then let me know.

21a bookshop ("She" is a novel)
2d Terry (terrIFy) - Dame Ellen Terry actress
5d patera (dish (pater = Latin for father + a)
19d Care = caution and put c (clubs) down to make auction

Thanks for the quick reply. So obvious once they are explained. I forgot all about "She" being a novel, and the "Auction" one is very clever. I did think that 2d could be "Terry" but I have "Icon" for 9a (it's hidden in "arithmetic only") so obviously my 9a is wrong.
16d blowout (mean = low + o (egg) inside but (bar)
22a Shlock (unfair dealer = Shylock less y (year)

Incidentally, the only word I can find for 4a is SPADIX, which is a cluster of flowers. I can see the X for "ten" but where do the Luxembourg Gardens come in? Providing that is the answer of course.
Hi porilo - I don't do this crossword - what is the clue for 9a?
Question Author
9a: remarkable person in arithmetic only maybe (4)
I thought it could be ICON as that's hidden in "arithmetic only" but is doesn't fit now that I have "R" at the end.
re 9a remarkable person could be star but I don't know what that has to do with arithmetic...
Spa = spring and dix (not just 'x') = ten...they speak French in Luxembourg!
I suspect 9a is Oner , arithmetic being one of the 3 R's .
9A is definitely 'oner' and 1D is 'manilla'.
