I am trying to trace my Fathers WW1 Army service records
I have found his entry in the National Roll of the Great War but I am now at a loss.
Walter Edward Dedden,Middlesex 5th Regiment
21907 C Coy ,G 61864 .
Any help greatly appreciated

If your grandfather died in the war, which i assume is the case as he is on the roll, you will be able to find out the movements of his regiment on that day, though many did get seperated. There should be a detailed record of the day with the regimental museum. If he was wounded and died of his injuries or a related condition, this would also be recorded with the regiment.
