Hi we should of been getting a kitten this week but we have just been told the whole litter of kittens have got "cat flu" can anyone tell me if this is serious,they have been to the vets and are on antibiotics,the lady we was getting it off has said its touch and go at the minute,and they are very poorly,some might even be blind,and they cant walk or lift their heads.they are 6 or 7 weeks old now.should we forget about this poor little kitten or wait and see if he gets better.

it is possibe that some may be affected and yes in extreem cases can go blind, BUT please don't write them off just yet, they can pull though and have no probs in later life. It would be a shame for the whole litter to be abandoned when all they need is TLC. Wait a week and see if they start to get better. Obviously you do need to see as you also don't want a kitten that is going to have problems the rest of its life.
