All garages / accessory shops now have to be registered before the can produce number plates and you will find prices do not vary too much.

Why do you need two? Normally its either front or back after accident damage unless the pair have been nicked.

A legal loop hole exists that people can sell "show plates" which can or can not conform to the Ministry of Transports recommendations.

best place i found is ebay, basic set of 2 is about �10 plus postage.
