I loved my brother very very much so when he died 4 days ago I was devastated. The funeral is tomorrow and there is a lot of people going. I have decided not to go as I know I will not be able to take the emotion of the day and will be too emotional. It is not that I didn't love him and can't be bothered. I will remember him in my own special way tomorrow.
My parents however are very angry and say I am selfish. Why do people always jump to conclusions? Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

You are right psychick but I'm still very immature and it is easier said then done to change your ways so that suddenly you are a sweet lovely girl.
so you do have 4 brothers or did that have all commited suicide? and you were married last month now you're a lesbian again. Ok dont go, I dont think many of us care either way anyway
but she was 19 a few weeks back when taking about being pregnant and was also 19 when she had the twins last year, although she was with a gay lover then.
Its no wonder i find any post so hard to believe nowadays.
wasnt the remaining brother in care? ( the post where you complained that you father spent more on your brothers care than he did on you and your lifestyle springs to mind) I hope your parents have asked for an investigation as to how he managed to commit suicide whilst under the watchful eyes on doctors etc
I'm not sure the schizophrenia did miss you.......
As unbelievable as it all sounds there is still that 20% chance its real and so i answered thinking in the 20% train of thought.

If you are a compulsive liar then perhaps you have this disorder also that you are talking about
surreylass I answered firstly in case it was real, sadly if it is (which i now really doubt) its the 'calling wolf story' she was warned so many times about.

Well I think it's sick and it's about time they were banned.Quite a few people on here have lost loved ones lately and she/he is making a mockery of their genuine loss as well as making fools of fellow Abers.

He was in care yes and he managed to commit suicide while in care. My parents are doctors themselves and know the workers in the mental home so I doubt they would even consider legal action.I am 18, I had 4 brothers and 1 sister. There's no point asking me about figures and facts that are irrelevant.
facts and figures you can keep up with amongst all the lies you mean?

don't go.

you will undoubtedly turn it into the 'me, me, me' show and ruin it for everyone.
I've never heard of a funeral being held on a Saturday.
