Should I call on the ex?

It's been 3 years since my gf dumped me. Since then, we have each moved on. Still, I think about her. We've lost contact but I could call in and see her at her work. I don't want to start up another relationship. I just want a friendly catch-up. But would she meet me with a smile, or would I frighten her?

Romeo, I guess that would depend on the nature of the relationship and the breakup, if a certain ex of mine turned up I would run to the hills and hide, while with others I would be happy to sit and have a catch-up. If it was amicable then I am sure she would greet you with a smile but you must first be very sure of your own reasons for contacting her, is it just a friendly catch-up or is there more to it (sorry if that sounds mean but only you know your own mind).

Good luck whatever you decide

Personally I would say no. Why do you want to catch up? 3 years is a long time so move on.
if she'd have wanted to stay friends you would still be speaking to her, as you said we have each moved on. Although I dont think you have, she has and this may cause her problems if she is in any relationship. I'd just leave it. xx
go on facebook, see if she's there, add her as a friend and send a casually toned message asking how she is... chances are she'll at least be curious as to what you're up to. Going to her work would just terrify her!
