Hi all hope everybody is good x

I was wondering if any of you can give me any clues as to a baby name? I don't know if it's a boy or a girl so i would like either please.
I don't want something common like Emma, Amy,kate etc.
Or Thomas, Martin nathan.
Something quite unusual or of another origin. The middle names for my baby will probably be eith rose or eva or jack or william.
Hope it's not too much to ask!! x

My parents chose very unusual (for the 40's and 50's)middle names for their children some like them some don't! Auriel, Malvina, Dolores, Rene and mine which is Erica Yvette I like the middle 2 but not my first name. My brothers middle name is Carlisle. My childrens names are Dominic shortened to Dom James changed to Jamie and Maisie shortened to Maiz.
Whatever you call him/her everyone will love it apart from them when they grow up lol. Good luck with choosing and with the birth xx

Knock yourself out!

My name is Helen which I always liked as it doesn't date me like some names do - I could be 90 or 19! It's dropped out of the top 100 lists recently so a Helen has a fair chance of being the only one in school! John is another name that was common and now isn't.

hiya, my sister is pregnant now and she likes the name sky or summer for her daughter (she having a girl) i also like unusual names my faves would be :- marcelle, jordanna, reah, danniella, nicole, chanelle, harley, not to unuaual though wouldnt want them getting bullied, think theres more leeway for girls than boys regarding unusual names. boys names sorry cant help you there dont like many really except lewis, ben, corey, dylan, harvey. but its personal choice - good luck anyway
I'm here in the US chuckling at the names. I teach in an urban school that is 99% African -American. We have names like Laqueisha, Queen, Prince, Bendi, Madhoo,Mirirai, Peter-gay (girl). It has been years since I've seen names like Tyler, Mary, etc. These names are so common place at my school, that I wonder why people think they are unique.

My friends daughter's name is Darielle (Like ariel, with a d). People often think she writes Danielle. It's very pretty.

Good Luck.
