driver for colour

I have just formated my harddisk and loaded Mindows me. I have now lost my colour. (only 16 colours) I do not have a disk for the motherboard what information do I need to look for a driver on the net? I know that the grahics are S3 Incorporated Trio 3D, If that is of any use. Thanks cyrilbiker

you may need to re-install the latest drivers for your gfx card.visit the webbie of your gfx card manufacturer and it should be fairly easy to track down.also have you tried simply right-clicking your desktop,selcting properties and seeing what your settings are ? one other thing....your pc may well be in safe mode - re-start in normal
By the sound of it your motherboard has onboard graphics. Look at the motherboard physically to determine its make and model and then go to the manufacturers website where you should be able to download any necessary software.Until you have done this you will not be able to obtain full functionality from the graphics.
