If, for example, raw mince has a best before date of tomorrow and you cooked it today, could you chill whatever you made and eat it after the best before date???? A quandry, I'm sure you'll agree!!?!

In short...yes! So long as you cook it thoroughly, taking it to a sufficient temperature to kill off harmful bacteria, then it will keep cooked for a good few days.
Once cooked it'll keep for 3 days in a fridge or 1 month in the freezer.
I always wondered that too:-)
