Best 16/17 year old accounts?

Hi there, I'm currently with Nationwide and their student account doesn't have a particularly good interest rate. I'm just wondering if you have any recommendations on any banks which have the best interest rate for 16/17 yr old accounts?

Most current bank accounts have pretty poor interest rates. If you're looking for a Savings account, you can open a Cash ISA from the age of 16 which would be tax free although I imagine you're not paying tax at the moment. anyway. ICESAVE Internet Account is currently offering 5.95% providing you can produce the necessary ID documentation which might be difficult if you don't have a passport or driving licence. Have you tried Googling Current accounts with high interest rate?
