I saw a painting with the above title in a Brittany shop and would love to get hold of a print of it for my wife. I tried Google, and they mention a work of the same name by Zdriluk, a Canadian artist, but that's not the one. The one we want is a rather Picasso-ish depiction of a stylized cat about to nick a couple of fish from a table laid for a meal, it's rather a humorous thing. Can anyone help with tracking it down. Thanks...

I am afraid that I know nothing about paintings. I found a link to an artist who did paint a painting of the above name. His work is bright and colourful.

The relevant picture is not on the site as it has been sold, but you will be able to tell from the style of work if it is the correct painter or not.

Hello Wolf, thanks for your help but the work I'm looking for isn't in Paul Liggins' style either. There are an astonishing number of paintings with that particular title. I have now taken the photograph I took (through the art shop window - they were closed) along to the Arts Dept. of Cornwall College, near where we live, and I'm hoping someone there will be able to identify the artist. Thanks again for trying...Regards, Greenrook
