A friend has his counterpart which says the speeding offence occured on 31st of may 04 but the conviction is stated as 5 months later.
On which date will the points actually come off? The offence date or the conviction date?

Thanks, Cal

the points will stay on the licence for 4 years from the date of the offence. The effect of those points is for 3 years. So the effect has expired but they will stay for another year.
