can i trade in my car

I bought a car on finance from yes car credit 2 years ago. Where do i stand now they have ceased trading a friend has said that i could take it back to them and pay nothing but now there is nowhere to take it back to. My credit rating isn't too good. Can i trade it in at another place.

Please help me

they might not be in business,but the credit company you took the finance out with most probably are,have you been paying off the monthly payments.read the small print on your agreement,there could be a provision in it to say you can give it back on certain terms. other then that,if you go to another dealer and trade it in,they will pay off the finance for you in a new agreement,to buy another car.
most dealers will not be happy to pay off any outstanding finance or leases on vehicles. Most wil ask for it to be paid off by your and once paid, they will request a letter stating that you have "no interest" (outstanding debts or finance) on that vehicle.
