I am currently employed as a draftsman and am seriously considering becomeng self employed or Limited and doing contract drafting. Would a small business advisor or an accountant be the best starting point at this time?
Also, as a safety net, I will be working as a cabbie, as I am a Licensed Private Hire driver. Would that be a problem for the tax man - doing two jobs
Thanks in advance

Your best starting point would be Business Link or similar where you can get free advice. http://www.businesslink.gov.uk
Find your local Enterprise Agency via Business LInk - they are more attuned to the start up business.
Two jobs is quite common, don't worry, the tax man will not be confused - he will make sure you pay at least what you owe
