Bleach the hairs on your arm. They're not so noticeable if they are fair. If you live in the UK there are products such as Jolen (or is it Joleen) that just take 10 minutes to apply then you wash the product off - and hey presto! Available from most chemist shops.
Please don't wax them or shave them off! They grow back with avengence! Seriously, my friend done it for fun when she was a kid, she used her mums hair removal cream and smothered both arms in it. She has these really odd looking long (and I'm talking about double the normal length) arm hair and it looks really odd. If you need to do anything to them please just bleach them as suggested above.
I shave my arms every other day (as the hair doesn't grow back very quickly) with a regular razor. I personally prefer no soap, just water. I don't have dark hairs on my arms, in fact the hairs on my body are so fair and my skin so pale that they are virtually invisable. I just don't like having hair on any part of my body below my back, but there you go! You can also wax (cold or warm treatments are availbale from most pharmasists) or use depilatory creams or mitts. If you do end up shaving please watch around the elbows that you don't cut yourself as it can be awkward :)
yuk stubbly arms - each to their own i guess but it sounds a bit grim
they don't have chance to get stubbly :) And besides my hairs are so thin that even if they were they would still look and feel as soft as a babies arms :) (but without the fat!)
I finally decided to shave last year and I have to say I never regretted it. The hairs do NOT grow back coarse and this does NOT make them dark. I was worried about this and asked a professional and they said no, those changes DO happen with waxing sometimes but shaving does not cause this. Anyway, I just used my normal razor in the shower with just water and voila...it looks so much better. Even my mom noticed and she was thinking of doing it too. Seriously, it grows back so slow (mine aren't that dark either) I probably only have to do this once a month and you never see stubble at all. I'd say go for it.
My daughter bleaches her arm hair, it then has a sparkly effect in the light which is a much nicer look than dark stubble!
I shave underarms every other day,no stubble and I massage moisturising cream or liquid into my armpits.
