Hi, I'm on the LPC (full-time) but I haven't secured a training contract yet. Does anyone know how long the LPC qualification is valid for?

Cheers for that. I am a mature student anyway (35). I'm doing mine at Northumbria. My advice would be to do all the reading that they give you so that the exams in February and again in June aren't too much of a shock. It's keeping up with the amount of work that is the difficult bit, which I think is done to mirror the amount of work that they expect you to do in practice. Good luck
