do fish lay down?

I have two clown loach fish who "go to bed " around 9pm every evening they both lay down on thier sides! is this normal?

Yep....perfectly normal for clown loach....they're stupid creatures but great fun to watch.

clown loach are my fave tropical fish. My hubby used to keep them, had 8 about 4 or 5 inches in lenght they were really comical to watch. Look like they're playing dead a lot of the time , it's perfectly normal !
