I have just got my hair highlighted. Thing is, I'm naturally a redhead, so they turned out a caramel shade. How can I brighten them up so they look more blonde?

Did you get it done professionally?
hi, i had blonde higlights over brown dye and same thing happened to me. I found using 'silver shampoo' works, its purple in colour so dont be scared but it brings out the ash tones in the blone. about 8 a bottle and should be in 'larger' boots stores or hairdressers usually stock it and will also know wot ur going on about unlike the assistants in superdrug or boots near me!!! good luck!

Yes, I got it done professionally Emz26. I've read about purple shampoos jammiedodger, so I might give that a go. Thanks!
I am a natural redhead and had mine done last week. They have turned out a bright platinum shade. Maybe it is to do with how long the stuff is left on, I don't know.
Stick to your natural colour.

Nothing worst than dyed hair ladies, especially Bottled Blondes.

Hope i haven't offended anyone
laurence2 - no offence taken. I don't look like 'a bottled blonde' I have just had a few highlights done to 'lift' my colour.
