It is often mentioned that the applicants/competitors spend several weeks away from their families. The tasks only occupy two days per week. What do they do in the remaining five days of the week?

i know the interview process is relentless but what are they expecting when they eventually get the job? im sure sir alan wont put up with flexi time!
Do they not do several tasks per week? Its only the show that is aired once a week innit and this was recorded some time ago?

Anyway, apart from all that I cant stand it. It glorifies backstabbing, bullying and arrogance. All necessary of course in business success, as can be seen by the Sugared one himself.
