My daughter was married a month ago and her cake was great fun with fondant figures holding up the tiers.
The fun figures of policemen piggies - hubby is a police officer are charming and does anyone know if they could be preserved?
Would be grateful for any replies please.
Thankyou.
Chris.

I think they last for a very long time. I kept the icing flowers from my wedding cake and they still look like thy did on the day. The colour may fade a bit depending on colours and where they are kept i.e direct sunlight. My flowers sit on my dresser in my dining room and look lovely.
As spanner says they last for years. The sugar preserves them. Keep them in a dry place out of direct sunlight and put a glass dome or something over to keep them dust free.
