when my ford explorer is under heavey load the auto box makes a sound like it is driving over a cattle grid and the vibration comes from the transmison tunnel
any ideas ??

I have an explorer also and find that it makes a nice (or not so nice) rattle from the engine now and then when just started, for no reason. Slides a lot on mini roundaabouts too. Fun to drive though!
