In-growing toe nails...

Is there anyway to stop them.... they don't look weird or anything.. just every now and then they start to feel sore and I clip the sides of the nail and they dissapear but as the nail grows back.. they start to hurts again!

What stops them?

lint is the soft stuff on plasters and surgical dressings.

a bit like flat cotton wool.

just gently stuff it in with a cocktail stick, as much as you can, before it hurts and leave it there, the nail should start to grow above it, rather than into your skin, then remove when the nail is at a safe length
If it gets really bad then there is a simple operation they can do, my son had terrible problems with his and they all got infected and they do something which means you can never get them again, and he never has.
