I just have to ask - what are you making that requires half a pound of ginger root?
Question Author
A large quantity of Kasoundi
The jars and tubes used to have a conversion in the small print like 1tsp=5g or 1 tsp=1 clove (garlic... not ginger that is). You may just have to look then do some maths. You will need more than 250g of paste though because of all the added liquids in the pastes that will also need to be cooked off.
Dont be lazy just go and buy some root ginger
