I am 54 and gave up beer before Xmas.I have been eating healthily and everyone tells me I look much healthier and thinner.I still have what I consider a beer gut.Any tips on how to reduce it - other than surgery etc,

Do some abdominal exercises.
Posted before I finished.

At 54 you might want to take it a little easier than someone younger, but even going for brisk walks would help, or swimming is very good. Combining your new - and admirable - regime with exercise would be the best bet.
In Mail on Sunday You magazine there is an advert for a cream called Tummy tuck that you rub on and lose an inch over a period of weeks. Well thats what it says!
Get a slendertone flex abs belt, you might get one hardly used cheap off ebay, they do work on the tightening bit.

I play cricket or coach five nights a week and so the exercise is ticketyboo .I think I'll give Ebay a go on the slendertone Malarkey
