My sister is going to buy a SWIFT hopefully next week and is considering buying a new one. we all know the stories of not buying a brand new one etc but considering it anyway. Now, new it is 9,199 at the moment. 1.5 GLX model.

How much leeway do dealers have? She wants to part ex a ford ka 1.3i 1999 V reg with 54k on the clock. I am going to say she has 7,400 to spend with the part ex in additon for a cash sale.

Reckon they'd do it ?

Don't.! Flog the Ka and buy a 1 year old swift at auction for 5k probably only cost 1k totasl to change car. All cars depreciate but a swift is one of the worst you can throw 3 grand out of the window as you drive home! Please don't, I feel one of my migraines comming on!
