Hi, I have recently laid a small patch of white pebble/stones in my front garden. Firstly I laid membrane down and then put the pebble/stones on top. It cost quite a bit having to buy 7 bags at 9 pound a throw for such a small area. Someone has told me since that the white pebble/stones turn black, this has realllllllly annoyed me, has anyone had this problem?

Sorry to answer a Q with a Q, but where did you get the pebbles from? I only need a few for a fire, but dont know where to get them. Have left a Q on QA but so far no luck. Perhaps you could help. Thank you
glenbar, pebbles from a garden center would probably be dangerous for what you want. the heat may make them crack or explode if they are the wrong sort. this is a guess but :---- unless, of course any one knows better.
better be safe than sorry.
