deleting files

hi guys!

just bought an external hard drive. saved document to it but i can't seem to delete the doc from my computers internal drive through ms word office 2007

any ideas?

Use Windows Explorer. Open the folder where you have the document and delete it (the document). Make sure you don't have the document open in MS Word or you can't delete it.
