what are the rules about shooting clays with shotguns the only reason i ask is because when i was out with my dogs yesterday in an area that is a public footpath i was showered with shot from two morons shooting in the direction of the path and i find it hard to beleive this is legal .

Hmmm, the shootyer has an obligation to handle his firearm with care. I'd speak to the Police because it's a serious problem and could be very dangerous.

I daresay it could lead to a charge of culpably and recklessly discharging a firearm. Actuallym, I think that is only in Scots law but I'm sure there is an equivalent in English law.
