Mains Pipe in the house

Hi,
Fisrt of all, im connecting a mains black pipe to a 25mm blue pipe, can anyone tell me the size of black pipe as it is a different size to the blue one, what size of adaptor would i need?

They will both be standard sizes with adapters readily available. Just cut a small amount off the end of the pipe and nip it to the local plumbers merchant.
