if u remove the body first then yes should be fine x
Thet are also hard to steer / row, with the lid on.
I'm not sure how long chipboard would last in water but I really think you should try and cross the channel in one!!
Bit hard on the arms ,coffins have rectangular ends.
The marble ones have a job to stay afloat but with some handy oar-work you can make a bit of headway.
No...but canoes may make good coffins
If you take the brass handles and fastners off it might make it a bit lighter. You might like to take a bouyancy aid... I think your gonna need it... In so many words the answer to your question NO!
