Your line manager probably started off where you are now. They are no different to you except that they know the job better (probably) as they have more experience. You are equal in all other respects.
Is it because your line manager is a difficult person, (if so, how) or just the face that she's your manager?
Just imagine him/her naked apart from wellingtones and a nappy sucking on a dummy, but not to laugh to much.....
Its true they are no better than you are. Don't be intimidated by a person just because they are in a higher position than you. If your boss makes you feel uncomfortable, then it is your boss that is not doing her job. Employees should be able to comfortably speak to thier boss and bosses should encourage employees to feel free to communicate with them. Try speaking to your boss more often, even if it's just to say hello everyday. In other conversations don't babble, just keep it short and to the point so they dont feel like you are wasting thier time.
picture her in a big rabbit suit...that way u dnt c her as a manager but a giant rabbit.which may inturn cause problems but i tnk u get d idea.. jus picture her as sum1 else like 1 of ur friends
