Any advice?? I have been on microgynon since december for irregular and very heavy bleeding. However, I still bleed once im back on the pill after the 7 day break. It is gradually getting worse and now rules my life!!! My husband and me have only managed to make love three times this year and just the thought of it becaused i know things arent right inside me, makes me feel sick. Ive got a pelvic scan next week but have a feeling nothing will show up. Im sick of wearing sani wear constantly just in case as there is no warning when the bleeding will start but I daily have a show of some amount????? Im 36 by the way.

Please advise or tell me im not the only one????

go back to your gp and get a different pill - this one is not helping you - or something else, you could also have have injections to stop the bleeding - this has been going on for way too long and its not necessary to bleed not to mention the fact that you are probably anaemic by now.
hi lynneylou, i had same problem and was given micronor(the mini pill) which you take all the time without a break and my bleeding stopped (i am 42)

thanks for replies. with the mini pill, how long can you be on it without a break, did you find out why you bleed all the time???
I used to have horrific periods - really heavy and painful and have been taking a progesterone only pill for a couple of years now and if I have them at all now they are super light. YEY! Go to your GP and maybe ask about seeing a gyno? xx
