Have admitted to being in Iranian waters. Regardless of whether or not this admission has been made out of duress - they were hardly mounting a major offensive against Iran, what is the penaltly for trespassing?

If you think they are anything other than sham admissions to play along at best or tortured "confessions" at worst then you are seriously orbiting another world. Captives will say black is white if they think it will help them survive. So you reckon the captives a have all decided they where wrong then do you? get real booldawg, I've up to now usually credited you with a modicum of sense.
Yes, but would you believe a word our Government says either?
if we caught irani soldiers off our coast wed probably give them political asylum and allow them to go missing!.
Whatever waters they were in, it seems to me the captives fell into a well planned trap and shouldn't have been anywhere near an area that could be disputed without armed cover protecting them.
