I decided to read todays Editors Blog, to see if any reference is made to the suspensions, there is an article from the editor which includes a request to visit the rules for clarification, when I clicked on to this the following message appeared "The page cannot be found" ????????

This Question does not seem to be a Quiz or a Puzzle ....

Incorrect category?

it's a puzzle to me !
Lector and Sommers you seem to be unaware of the lengthy correspondence re. the suspension and later the reinstatement of Sarumite and Aquagility apparently having broken the 'five minute' rule. All attempts to clarify, or even see the rules, seem to have failed, hence the post by Burgess.

Burgess, I too tried to 'visit the rules' and got the same response. It's nice to know they're so transparent, isn't it!
burgess, I've just had a look and they came up OK, both on the editor's blog and at the bottom of 'my profile'.
Nothing about limiting the rate of posting, however.
Christiana ... well aware of the lengthy correspondence -

This -raising the matter afresh- Question is just extending the long saga / and does not seem to be a Quiz or a Puzzle ....

This is the only email I have had from the Editor. It referred to my first suspension.

Hi,

You were unable to post as your account was suspended, this was due to
excessive posting i.e. you had posted more than 3 answers in 5 minutes

You have now been unsuspended

Thanks

Aquagility, good to see you have had some acknowledgement from AB editor,
lector, it should be obvious that this 'saga' in by no means over. We really do need to know the rules.

This may not seem to be a problem to those who mainly use other sections of AB, but here the questions often come thick and fast and call for short answers.
Lector--why do you only question what we do here, but rarely take part?
my original post should have ended with 'lol'. I apologise for my sense of humour, I didn't know I was walking into a 'turf war'.
I was unaware of this, and probably many other rules, on AB. There again I am a bloke , we do things first and then reads the instructions.
Lets hope lector never breaks the rules and needs help He/she are so busy policing Q&P to make sure we do not stray from the straight and narro. What a busy life!
Yep....lector ..our own very own AB policeman ..not a kind word for anyone and always banging on about rules .
I am pleased to see our helpful members back in the fold and the support for them from which lector was conspicuous by his absence yet he always accepts their help .Biggest pot and kettle merchant on here.
As for these five minute rules .... if indeed do they do exist ... ...they should be made clear in the tutorial .....and no lector this is not a quiz or puzzle ..it's a question ....in Suggestions .... go and consult your rule book.... the bit where it says "sarcasm.. ..the lowest form of wit"
