Help!

I have had the IUD for about 6 months. And all this 6 months that am soppose to get my mentsrual period I get it for about 2 to 3 weeks what do I do? Do I take it off or what can be done?

Hi i had one for 5 years and didnt bleed atall, i think maybe yours is still settling in . One bad thing about the coil though which no one mentions b4 u have it is it causes bacterial vaginosis, which is an absolute nightmare!! And if anyone has any knowledge of how to prevent that other than antibiotics i would be glad to hear.
