Yes
No, did you see the quiz, of which the name escapes me, at Christmas with 3 teams of 2 ?
Two of the other contestants were Jonathan Ross and David Walliams, both well established and funny people, however, RB completely stole the show. The audience loved him and you could see the others resigning themselves and sitting back to let him take the stage.
David Walliams even had a couple of mardy strops over it and was looking at RB with real venom.
One mans meat etc eh jollygreen, no right or wrong tho !
P.S. I'm from Derbyshire and have used the word ' mardy ' before, to be greeted by blank looks.
It means to behave like a petulant child.
Incidentally, what do you call that behaviour where you come from ?
I
I've tended to avoid him on telly because of his association with B** B****** (which I despise with a passion), but I saw some of his live DVD and found him much funnier than I thought I was going to. Stick to the stand up, Russell, and leave the crap reality TV to Davina McShouty and Dermot O'Godnothimagain.

Oops I spelled his name wrong. Ah well...
I saw him on that Christmas quiz, paired with a guy from the Mighty Boosh.

I thought both of them were like a couple of schoolkids who thought it was funny to say knickers and then giggle at their own humour.

They were both awful and totally unfunny.

I thought RB was also terrible on the last 90 minutes of Comic Relief.

The guy is a prat.
He IS crap - you're right there, but LEAST funny?

Have you forgotten Lee Evans?
I'm with peppy on this one, I also saw him on that show and thought he was very funny!
Yep!!!
And Dusty, Lee Evans is brilliant - has me crying with laughter every time I watch him!! Still, each to their own, I suppose.

Lee Evans.

Of course.

Mind you, I think Catherine Tate might qualify as well. And the Little Britain gang of bottom-feeders!
i cant stand him either jollygreen, but i just want to ask peppy roughly where in Derbyshire? cos have lived there too (?) and used to call people Mardy, or Mardy Ar*e
He's not quite the least funny person to have ever lived. Ahead of him are - in no particular order - Jo Brand (wonder if they are related?), Julian Clarey, Graham Norton, Jenny Eclair, Hitler, Keith Harris, Roseanne & Joan Rivers.
I love Russell Brand. He was really great with Noel Fielding on the quiz show. As said they were a lot better than Rossie & Walliams.
