I need to get hold of a copy of the theme tune for Top of the Pops (mp3 file). anyone know where I can download it from please?

I know in recent years they used Led Zepellin's - 'Whole Lotta Love' for the intro, but as for other ones.. :S

It's the "Whole Lotta Love" one. I'm organising a big meeting with Babs Powell as a speaker and I thought it would be a good introduction!

Then you need A whole lotta love by CCS (The collective conciousness society), which is the version used on TOTP.
