Do you have a usb hub that is powered by the pc?

If so, there is not enough power to run all the devices you have attached to it. You need to buy a powered hub - one that plugs in to the mains.

Or unplug all the other non-mains devices, leaving just the webcam.
For Neilzulu, Ethernal is correct in some ways, but i had a similar problem and bought a self powered hub only to be told that this does not effect the hub size. My solution was to get a new hub inserted into your computer, but make sure it is not on the same bandwidth or near that of your current one, I hope this is of help
