Can you not just use an eyelash curler, even a heated one possibly? I haven't even heard of eyelash perming. It can't be good for your eyes, surely?
I had this done last year and it was so not worth it. I normally use eye lash curlers everyday and thought this would save me the hassle...did it heck. It was really rubbish, it still ended up curling them everyday. I thought it was really not worth the money!

thanks joeygreen
I was going to get this done a couple of years back but when i went to the salon, the girl advised me not to.

She said that they had had lots of people coming back saying there was no difference in the shape of their lashes, so the company that makes the solution doubled the strength of it.

They then had some people returning saying that their eyelashes had turned into frizzy balls of fuzz! She said it was up to me but she would advise me against it!

I have this ruby and millie eyelash curler

and I think it does the job, but there are cheaper similar ones on ebay:
