Which paint is more suitable for painting a garage door from dark blue to white.

Do i have to sand the door first?

im presuming the door is wood,it will need to be sanded down properly and two coats of white undercoat and a good quality top gloss coat,if its a metal door,the same,but use a metal top coat gloss

definately need to sand it as the paint needs a "key" to adhere to.

A light - medium rub will do
