I watched a programme on sunday 18 jan about the last 24 hours of kurt cobains life. There was lots of snippets of tracks by different artists. The one snippet i heard was a slow track of a mans voice and a guitar. He was singing the word darkness. Do you have any idea who this might be ? was it Kurt?

it comes from a live mtv show of him and the band playing unplugged - i.e on aucoustic instruments. There is a cd of this available. I can't remember the exact name of the track or the cd. The lyrics as I recall go along the lines of : My love, my love, where have you been, tell me where did you sleep last night - in the pines, in the pines, where the sun never shines, I shivered the whole night through - the passion with which he sings really is spine chilling - it's a very evocative song and seems to be symbolic of his frame of mind at that time and premonition of things to come.
Possibly on Nirvana's unplugged lp (MTV) Kurt did some haunting covers of folk artists like leadbelly etc.. Alot of these featured Kurt & guitar alone. Hope i was of some help?
True love will find you in the end?
